The museum, opened in April 1996, houses five permanent exhibits. These include Thyne Institute, Arthur Robertson Native American Artifact Collection, Mecklenburg Hotel, Estes Express, and our newest addition, the Samurai Warrior. The museum hosts revolving art displays by local and regional artists of varied mediums throughout the year. An artist reception is held for each artist to introduce them and their work.
