You don’t have to have the luck of the Irish to bid and win on wonderful experiences and great items on Saturday, March 16 at the St. Patrick’s Day Live/Silent Auction fundraiser, hosted by MacCallum More Museum and Gardens in Chase City. 

 

Some exciting Live Auction items are: 

1)  A  3- Farm excursion for 12 people to Halifax County (June17-July 12, 2024) with group transportation to Max Meadows Lavender Farm for a tour, box lunch on property, lavender lemonade and ice cream, then 20 minutes to Pinehaven Farm where you will experience fresh blueberries, a tasting of sunflower oil and blueberry balsamic vinegar, then to Hunting Creek Vineyards for a tasting experience of wines from the barrel as well as young and very mature bottled wines. Tour the wineyard with the owners. Enjoy a wine flight of eight wines in the tasting room with a "tasting plate" of foods to enhance your experience. Feast together with a decadent four course meal and wine pairings.

The event will be held at the Mecklenburg Country Club in Chase City at 6:00. The tickets are $50 per person which includes heavy hors d'oeuvres and an open bar. All proceeds will benefit the MMMG.
